The Arrival of baby Xandria...

On Sept 10, time marked 4.00pm as the arrival of my baby Xandria. After suffered with the 16 hours pain, I’ve finally got my little baby girl on my arm. Thanks god that everything went smoothly and my little baby girl looks so sweet and healthy.

Weight: 2.85kg
Height: 48.5cm

Both hubs and I were so happy and tiring to the arrival of our first baby. After all, it was painstaking to have baby Xandria.

The Time has come...

It is 7.30pm and I shall prepare myself for the 'induce labour' now. Everything has been ready and both hubs and I was in the mood of excitement as we are on the way to the hospital. I have no idea how would it be for the labour pain, how long I will suffer for the pain, in fact it is the path I still have to go thru anyhow. So, I guess the best is not to think too much… I’m sure everything will be just fine. It’s the pain that I need to bear for the coming few hour. And… I will be seeing my baby soon!!!

I am into week 39 and yet it seems that no signs of delivery at all. Went to O & G this morning and it’s my final check-up at O & G. Everything is fine and the little one seems still that ‘active’ inside me. Thus, doc suggested I go for induce labour since my due date is somewhere near. My friend advised not to do so and wait till over my due date. Somehow, I feel so torturing to be waited for few more days. I’ve been suffering with insomnia these days and my headache seems to blow down my head.

After few discussions with hubs and support from my family, I decided to go for ‘induce labour’. So, wish me then…

I am loosing my freedom...

It’s a long holiday and I believe most of you did a good planning on how to utilize such a good weekend. Most of my friends were going to outstation; some were going to Singapore as well. For me, I’m just sitting at home and waiting for the ‘time’ to come. MIL doesn’t allow me to go shopping as she worried that the little one will be popped out at any moment. It reminds me about an old TV series where the MIL prohibited the daughter-in-law in doing this and that.

Sighh….I feel like loosing my freedom now. I am no longer enjoying my life like I used to be. In fact, I’m just like a give birth machine that waiting for the output.
