According to our lunar calendar (五月初五), today is a Dumpling Festival for Chinese and this is the first year where I got no dumpling for my dumpling festival. People at my surrounding keep talking and eating the dumplings and yet none of them even share one with me. Pity me!!!I missed mom’s dumpling very much. I love ‘Bak Chang’ (meat dumpling) with lots of chestnuts while hubs love to eat ‘Kee Chang’ (alkaline dumpling) with Kaya. The 'Kee Chang' has remind me about my late grandma who was so good in making dumplings.
How I wish I can be home now …
