my long waited gadget

Since the month Dec’10, the existing camera has finally destroyed by the monster of house. I was so mad with his misbehavior that would cost me losing of hundred bucks.

After about a month later, I made a called to the authorized dealer and check out the status. Again, it really pissed me off. I was told that the part (imported from Japan) has yet to arrive to Malaysia due to earthquake disaster happened in Japan. In view of no date of waiting, I pleased Stew for a new camera as my birthday pressie.

There it is:

A good Dehumidifier

I simply love the design of Ikea’s Stolmen customized wardrobe. First of all, it’s so easy to install and what’s more the design is so simple and nice. Somehow, having a walk-in wardrobe, I just need a good quality dehumidifier like the I saw online on dehumidifier UK. It has a good dehumidify function according to the website.

Photobook for year 2009

Finally, i got my photobook completed.  After pending for don’t know how many weeks or months, I decided to get it done before it expired as well as before I forget about it. Gosshh… it’s like taking years to complete.
Talking about its quality, I got speechless with it simply because it’s so good. With the price I paid, it is inclusive of a sleeve box. Don’t you think it’s so worth it?

what is that so UNIQ about uniqlo?

I simply don’t get it what make everyone so crazily about a newly open of Uniqlo boutique. Just before on it’s official opening day, everyone was talking about it. The newspaper, magazines and even bloggers would write about it too. And some people have planned to queue up on the opening day. What really make these people so crazy about it?

After all, it’s just a piece of cloth you wear to cover your body everyday.

LED TV that cost life income

As we were shopping at Singapore last weekend, we found a display of 58’ LED TV shown at the entrance of electrical store. Apparently, it’s a 3D TV. The ever best was when we were having such chances to watch on it. Gosh... it’s so real and even you could feel like the object was just right in front of you. It’s awesome i can say. But to own it is almost similar to spend on my annual income. SGD12,000 which equally to RM26K is real put me in shocked. Perhaps, I could ever own it if only with my good return from gold coins.

Hit by shopping bugs

I got hit by shopping bugs lately. Simply because of Jusco Member Day SALES (which on 20 & 21 Oct) and i spent hundreds just on few things bought like kiddos clothing, baby care products, diaper & daddy’s working outfits. Then, another few hundreds spent on Chinese herbs & tonics from Eu Yan Sang when i noticed they were having promotion too. You can imagine how much i spent by counting on the voucher i redeemed.

Le Creuset Cookware

I’ve been drooling to own a set of Le Creuset cookware since the day I watch Rachael Ray show. Somehow, simply to own a piece of it has cost in a tonne. If you would ask me what is that so special about this cookware, I can tell you that nothing so special about it. Just it made of cast iron and fill with colorful, sparkling color.
You can imagine the price of owning a set of 9 pieces could be more than 10k, which is out of my expenses budget. Some said, it is worth to own it as it keep your food as fresh as it cooked. While some told me,” I rather use the money for bullion investment.” So what you say?

storybooks for kiddos

I know how important to train your kids to read. I started to do so to Gen-x, especially Xandria. She simply likes to flip (not read) storybook. After all, it’s a good beginning for a toddler at her age to do so. So i just let her be.... as long as she did not scribbling on the book. Few weeks back, Rachel asked if I’m interested to order storybook (Scholastic ) from Philip’s kiddy. Without doubt, i told i will email my order list to her. If you read a storybook called ‘No, David, No’, then you know this publication company. I’m kind of like their artwork and storyboard.

And that’s really kind of her for such favour. Many thanks, Rac!!!

Gold vs Gift

I am a life perfectionist requester and I want almost everything in life are well planned, well-maintained or well-chosen. Therefore, choosing a gift for someone I love can be a tough task for me especially to my dearest mother. I committed myself to buy gold jewelry to her every year on Mother’s Day. Somehow, with that pricey gold rate nowadays, I am no longer affordable to buy for her. I should be listening to her advice in keeping the gold when the rate was so low few years back. I’m kind of regret for not doing so, otherwise I’ll be making good return by selling off now.

family trip soon...

After having so many times of empty promises, I denied in believe of what he would plan for family trip to overseas or anywhere else. But today, I simply got surprised when I was told about overseas trips on the coming months. Stew has pre-booked on the flight ticket during the promotion of AA. Yeah, we are going to Bali soon, my long waited destination.

It not a matter of where exactly the destination is but his effort for such planning. What else can I say???

our recent trip to Penang with my in-law...

I need a powerful connection at home

If you do follow my blog, you know I’ve decided. Yeah, decided to let go my career and being a stay-at-home mommy for my kiddos. I know it’s going to be a very tough life ahead especially my 2 kids are extremely hard to handle and myself, lack of experience in nursery. I know I had to get myself prepared, both mentally & physically.

I started to plan my life as fulltime mommy. I told Stew I don’t need anything else but super high-speed connection at home. Because I can’t live without Internet… in fact, they are many things that I can’t live without…

Lately, I’ve searched hi & low on wireless access point. Existing, we have D-Link 2.4GHz Wireless Access Point - DWL-2100AP at home but seem it’s time to change a new one. Probably I should consider something like EnGenius ECB Wireless Access Point, seem very good. I hope it help...

Eyeglasses for myself

I just got to know that an eyeglasses can easily cost up to few thousand although it’s might not from a branded designer. A colleague of mine who just bought a new glass that cost her about 1.5k for a pair. I got shock for that price.

I wondered why some people willing to spend few hundred bucks for a pair eyeglass when they are very good and cheap eyeglasses could be found in the market now. For instance, Zenni Optical offering very cheap and nice design of eyeglasses online. Looking at their product ranges for New arrivals, Holiday Fun Eyelglasses and $8 Prescription Zenni Glasses, I’m really excited to own a pair for myself. I’m thinking of changing to a rimless design. How about this one?

Shop till I drop...

October 28 & 29 was the great ‘Member Sales’ at Jusco Tebrau City. Having to reside at a place that have no much shopping mall, you have no much choice but to shop as you much as u can. Yeah, the craziest of my devil thought conquerred my soul and I really shop till I drop. Simply the two hours shop and I spent about (or maybe more than) RM300.

What I bought? Here are the list:
~ clothing, socks for my Gen-X
~ diapers, bottle cleaning detergent
~ Stew working outfits, belt, t-shirt, pants
~ lady top for mom, my working outfit, dress, inner wear

Sounds just a few items and it has cost a tonnes. Apparently, the so-called sales is not really worth for money.

Painful Paintball Games

Whenever I saw any ads on Paintball games promotion, I feel a bit regret. Since many years ago (before I got married), Stew and I has a wild thought of having paintball games. We were asking friend and co-worker to join us. Everything has set to go and when we were each been given a Proto SLG Paintball Guns, I can’t even held it up. It’s heavy like a real gun and I ended to quit from the games.

Stew and friends were having such a fun time with it. Somehow end of game, Stew was in fact has a few ‘black green’ spot on his chest and arm. I can imagine how painful it would when the bullet hit on you. Gosh, luckily I wasn’t there to play. Otherwise, I would cry aloud due to painful.

Shaping my body

Just about 2 days ago, I was chatting with a colleague on how to slim down the body weight. I told them that I need to slim down my body after having 2 children and yet I’ve not done so. My flappy tummy is definitely irritated my eye sights each I’m standing in front of the mirror. What’s more when I looking at my tight, my butt and entire body of mine are fully with stubborn fat. Imagine my weight (before having children) was 46kg and it’s 56kg now.

Yeah…you can actually hear a yelling sound from me. I told Stew I need to slim down by starting with a healthy diet and appropriate exercise like having pedal exerciser at home. But having to owe one is not cheap… guess I shall start my exercise at fitness center.

new storage compartment

The rates quoted by our carpenter on the built-in storage compartment really put me in a big shock. Though the small space might cost cheaper but turned out to be opposition.

Thus, we decided to go for IKEA ready-made combination storage which much more cheaper and organize. If you look carefully, they is a storage mirror attach with this design which just fit to my choice.

High-speed Connectivity @ home

With the advance of technology nowadays, they are many thing can be done without stepping out from your doorstep or office. Taking example of online shopping (which I have addicted to recently). In fact, I can do my shopping while rushing my reports in office. Imagine how powerful is our latest connectivity equipment now.

Of course, you will need great tools in order to have high-speed web browsing to speed up your connectivity. That’s is so right after I have experience to very low connection from traditional type modem. Many friends of mine recommended that I should go for wireless router, which comes with all components I need and what’s more with easy-to install kit.

That’s really sounds good since I decided to have a Home Office for my new house. And after searching through some online stores and noticed the price is indeed reasonable. Probably I shall purchase a cellular modem card too since I've been traveling so often.

Fashion on Man

I believe no one can actually refuse to wear on jewelry especially women. I remember they was once I read an article about fashion, the survey conducted with result that majority of man nowadays also love to wear jewelry and the buying power is very much higher than woman. Imagine that jewel fashion is no longer applied to woman but man too.

For me, I love diamond very much. Looking the sparkling of it, I just can’t resist it. Whenever I got to know that the jewelers are having marked down price on the jewelry, I’m sure to grab one of my favorite. What’s more if I discover any online jewelers who sold great design of jewelry. It’s really hard to resist…

Costume Jewelry

Last week as I shopped around the shopping in Singapore, I’ve got amazed by a diamond displayed on the window of shop. It was like ‘Wow… !!’. When I was told it was just a costume gem. But from design to it's clarity, sharpness look exactly like a real one.

At current market condition, I believe not everyone afford to buy luxury jewelry. Imagine, each theme of your clothes has to match with accessories, shoes, bags and so on. Instead of buying expensive glamour jewelry, I was told they are many designer costume jewelry available in market. For instance, Holster Jeweler, an experience costume jewel maker. How resist when looking at such beautiful jewelry?
