It's a Saturday Nite...

Time has flied. It’s another Saturday night again. I love weekend very much when I was in KL, when I was still single. I like to enjoy myself with friends either for a dinner or to have a drink at pub. Probably that’s the night life for KL people. Hahaha…

However, my lifestyle has totally changed ever since I’ve been resided in JB. No friends, no clubbing, no more night life for my Saturday night. Happy Moments...

Yesterday was a birthday of my colleague. Another colleague suggested having a celebration for him on the Tuesday night at Red Box Karaoke. However, hubs and I were not able to attend due to the timing they booked for the karaoke room started from 11pm to 3am. I don’t think I can wait till that late.

Somehow, we had another celebration with the birthday ‘boy’ the next day by having a ‘homemade steamboat’ at his house. So, we went to a nearby wet market after working and bought the necessity ingredients of ‘steamboat’. Once we reached his house, all ladies were starting to prepare the ingredients while the guys were enjoyed watching TV shows.

Unfortunately, I was too starving and forgot to take some photos of the happy moments!!!

Funky PC Game...

I don’t really like to play any PC games or PS games. However, hubs has seems to be addicted to a new PC games called Dinner Dash. It is recommended by an old friend of mine. In fact, both hubs and I had the same excited feeling after playing this game for few times. We even challenged each other by betting whoever loose has to complete the whole housework alone for the coming weekend. Hahaha….

Sometimes, it’s fun to have this kind of betting as well. But even if i loose the game, my dear hubs will still share the housework with me.

Homemade Dinner...

I’ve never had home-cook dishes since I’ve been residing in JB. Hubs and I started to feel bored with outside food. So, he suggested that maybe we can have our homemade dinner at home instead. We bought a rice cooker and brought an electrical cooker from my third sis to start my home-cooking. To be frankly, I can cook but maybe not as well as mom. Somehow, it’s every woman’s destiny in learning cooking.

Poor Dinner at SDS Bistro...

Hubs and I were run out of idea on where to eat or what to eat when comes to dinner time. After our long discussion, we ended up to have our dinner at a bakery café/bistro located somewhere in Johor Jaya. (Just for your info, you will find many café or bistro in JB and the food there is tasteless.)


I've ordered Curry Chicken Rice, it turned up with Nasi Lemak with a cold, dried curry chicken and the Fruit Tea that I ordered has become Lemon Tea. The worst is they even missed out one of my order. Errrrhhh......the whole dinner was not appetite at all. So, we ended up buying some snacks at Pasar Malam.

It has been more than two months since I’ve started to blog for monies and my PR still remain at ZERO. What a shame!! According to my friend who is so expert and professional in blogging, the PR review by Google is actually held every quarterly and the previous review was on April 2007. Meaning my blog will only be reviewed on the coming July. What a long wait for me!!! I can’t wait anymore, I need a higher PR for grabbing better offer at PPP. Having an AFFAIR...

I noticed that having an affair with the foreign labor has becomes a culture in most of the manufacturing company in JB. The moment I knew that my colleague is having an affair with one of our Vietnamese QC, I got shocked for being so unfaithful to a relationship. By the way, this guy is actually our housemate and I met his girlfriend earlier in KL as well. This afternoon, I heard he has no longer with the Vietnamese girl but another new affair with a Malay girl instead. Not longer ago, I heard another news from hubs that one of his client also having the same affair with foreign worker and to my understanding, the company is prohibit the employee in having any affair between the colleagues. However, the rule seems to be useless to them.

So I asked hubs the question, ‘will you betrayed me if I’m not with you in JB?’ Sometimes, I feel like so stupid in asking this kind of question especially to a man. How many of them will answer it honestly??

Early Retirement...

As we were on the way back to Johor yesterday, hubs and I were discussing about our early retirement. I was asking hubs when and how much will it be enough for us to have our early retirement at the age of 40? And guess what he replied me. “We need to have a minimum of cash RM500K saving in bank and zero debts from any mortgage or loan. Then only we will have our retirement life.” RM500K cash in bank? How long will it take for us to earn that figure then?? We are neither a businessman nor high pay employee.

Apparently, I think we both were having our 'day dream' in such an early day. Ha ha ha!

Hub’s New Gadget…

My dear hubby is not the kind of updated person especially on the new gadget like handphone. Apparently, he will not waste the monies by owning the latest model of any new gadget launched in market. Perhaps, he is just too stingy to spend on that. Hahaha…

It’s so coincident that a friend of mine who is selling off one of his smart phone in cheap. To my understanding, the phone has yet to be launched in Malaysia market and my friend actually got the phone from the Genting authorized phone dealer. Not sure about the maintenance and warranty but since he is selling cheap, so hubs decided to buy from him.

Again, my company will be audited by client later. I just hate the audition which usually will consume the whole day by sitting inside the conference room and bullshitting about everything. Dumpling, Dumpling I Love You

According to our lunar calendar (五月初五), today is a Dumpling Festival for Chinese and this is the first year where I got no dumpling for my dumpling festival. People at my surrounding keep talking and eating the dumplings and yet none of them even share one with me. Pity me!!!

I missed mom’s dumpling very much. I love ‘Bak Chang’ (meat dumpling) with lots of chestnuts while hubs love to eat ‘Kee Chang’ (alkaline dumpling) with Kaya. The 'Kee Chang' has remind me about my late grandma who was so good in making dumplings.

How I wish I can be home now …

At the same time, he uses up his Special Ops skill to help those who are so helpless by the police for his ongoing personal investigation. Later on, he was joined by Fiona an ex-IRA operative and Sam, a washed-out military intelligence contact who is being used by the feds to keep tabs on him.

Boring Sunday...

Since we are not going back to KL, hubs and I plan to go for our groceries shopping at Jusco Tebrau City. However, the plan turns down due to our laziness. We both woke up at around 10.30am. After having our first home-made breakfast (we usually go out for breakfast), hubs returning to his dreamland while I were enjoying reading my magazine as well as watching the cartoon show on TV. You will find it quite many cartoon shows especially on Saturday and Sunday morning. I know, it’s for kids but I do enjoy watching it as well…

The whole Sunday seems to be a cloudy day at JB and that caused us to be so lazy to go out for a walk. We rather stay at home and do the house cleaning work. What a boring Sunday!!!

As I read thru the newspaper today, I was shock with today’s headline about the rape case that happened in Johor. In fact, the rape cases happen almost everyday in our society yet the authority seems to negligence the severity of the impact to us, Malaysian citizen.

I was told by my colleague that the citizen of Johor will be having an assemblage this afternoon to appeal the authority in taking action against this matter. Some of them even get me to sign on the petition form of above matter.

See, this is the way of our government handle the cases. We, as the taxpayer have to take the first step instead.

Not going back KL...

I suppose to go back KL this weekend for the celebration of ‘Cang’ (dumpling) Festival with my family. Somehow, hubs and I decided to postpone it to next week due to business purposes. Hubs will have to settle the documentation procedures for the foreign workers at KLIA on the coming Friday and appointment with a client in town on Monday.

So, I sent a sms to notify my sis about it this morning and got her replied like this. “ur mom woke up earlier morning to prepare the dumpling 4 u n she must be sad if she know u r not coming back.” I felt so sorry for that and immediately I called back home to comfort my mom as I know how bad the feeling of being disappointed.

"Mom, sorry ya…I’ll be back next week and do keep the dumpling for me. Ok?”

Buying house in JB???

An old friend of mine was asking me a surprising question last night about buying a house in JB. I was so surprising and curious why he would suddenly ask me this. For me, my answer will definitely ‘No’. It is not worth to own a house in JB if you only plan to stay here for few years. Otherwise, it is fine to do so.

Hubs has a cousin sister who bought a single storey house in JB two years ago and she realized that the price of the house has dropped 10% of her purchased price after the completion date. Can you imagine that?? I believe this kind of depreciation hardly happened to KL real-estate.

So my dear friend, it is not worth to own a property in JB since you only stay here for a very short period. My suggestion to you is instead of buying, why don’t’ you go for renting??

We are innocent...

I’m in deep blue today. *Sigh*…. Perhaps it’s because of the called from FIL last night. Here the stories go:

Hubs and I are working under the same company and to those who yet to know, the company is owned by his uncle. So, basically his uncle is one of the bosses as well. Recently, they were rumors about hubs planning to quit the job and run his own business. The worst is, the uncle believes in the rumors and call FIL to check about it. Hubs was disappointed with his uncle’s action as it shown some kind of mistrustful on him.

To his understand, the rumors should be started with the information searching for new plant setup. In fact, the new plant setup was to the purpose of retaining the sales of an existing client. And it was the decision of the Management as well.

Today is really a busy day for me!!!

Back To Work...

I’ve finally back to work after taken two days MC. Work is piling up on my desk and especially the preparation towards ISO 14001 is yet to complete. I’m sure boss will definitely making noise about it.

We supposed to have our Internal Audit for the ISO 14001 this week, somehow the Production Head (who in-charge of the production maintenances as well environment) keep dragging the work caused the delay again. I’m not sure who should responsible if we failed to obtain ISO 14001 later.

Sometimes, I’m kind of frustrated with the working ethic of people here. So irresponsible and always like to push away the blame on others. I guess what really make them interested is not the job but gossiping. Sigh…. What kind of company is this???

Anyhow, work is work. I still need to get things done ASAP. *Got to work liow…..*

No work, No Monies...

This is the fourth day of my illness and thanks god that my flu is getting better. I’ve been told to rest more and that caused I lost 3 reserved post in Blogitive. Hey, 3 reserved posts already caused the losses of USD15.00. In addition, PPP seems to be no opportunities at all during day time (except US time).

My BIG DAY...

Yes...it is my BIG DAY today. However, I did not have any celebration for it due to the illness. My flu is getting worst as well as the coughing and ended up to see doctor again. So basically, the whole day I was lying down on my bed while hubs is doing all the housework like laundry, cleaning up the mess and washing up the car.

A Terrible Day in Life...

4th June was a terrible day in my life and I would never forget about it for the rest of life. It is a wound that never be cured and it’s still hurt until today. It’s a secret that been keeping for years and I thought it’s a secret that will never be revealed. Thanks god for sending someone like my hubby, who is so caring and understanding to me even after knew my secret.

As what sis always told me, I should thanks god for that and appreciate for what I own at the moment!

I missed this little boy...

I dreamed about Pluto few days ago. He has been abandoned by the new owner and become homeless. I cried like hell until hubs had to wake me up. Yes, I’ve gifted him to a new owner ever since me residing in Johor. Hubs and I love him very much, somehow due to our current condition; it is not a good suggestion to bring along him to JB.

So, we went to the new owner’s house and pay a visit to this little boy… The new owner loves him very much. He is no longer in the cage and free to play around the house compound. Thanks god, I feel so solace to see him in such good condition. He even can recognize both of us by wagging his tail. Poor little boy!

Deep in my heart, I do feel sorry for can’t taking care of him and same as hubs. I know he missed him very much....so do i!!!

My Random Thought...

When I looking back those interim posts I wrote in my blog, I just noticed that mostly are unhappy things. I wish I can stop writing about unhappy things happened around me. I know there are so many wonderful things in life but I think it hardly happened on me. Sometimes, I feel so miserable with my life and sometimes I feel gratified with what I have now compared to others. I have a supportive family, loving husband and a place to live in (although is not a homely home). What else is missing in my life???

Stew and I had a little discussion last night. We were talking about our life, our family planning, and our commitment to each other as well as our future children. I guess we both need to compromise to each other in order to get the balance of life. Easy in words, hard in action... But sometimes in life, they aren’t everything go as we planned.

So good to be home...

It is always so good to be home. Hubs and I were heading back to KL on Friday night due to public holiday on Saturday. We reached home at around 12am. It is all because hub was so nice to pick is friends and his cousin who also wanted to go KL.

We supposed to start our journey at 6pm but ended up at 8pm. Not only that, can you imagine my little ‘sweetheart’ has to support total of 6 persons for the whole journey?? Luckily there was a guy who we dropped him at Melaka. Pity to my dear ‘sweetheart’….

As for me, I was so tired and suffered with headache again. Oh gosh, the headache is killing me…. When the time we reached home, MIL was waiting for us and she probably knew that I’ll be hungry, she brought me the ‘birdnest’ that is specially ready for me. I don’t know what to say …’THANKS A LOT , MY DEAR MIL’!!!

Beginning of June...

Time really flies. It has come to end of May… For almost a month, I’ve joined the PPP paid-to-blog. Although no payment can be seen at the moment, but I’m sure figure in my Paypal account will soon increase after 30 days. I am looking forward to welcome JUNE. Hahaha….

Other than blog hopping, my existing task is still piling up. The Internal audit for ISO 14001 supposed to be held by end of May. Somehow, it has been delayed due to the factory renovation in progress. And you won’t believe that the renovation was in progress without any notification.

Basically, this is the working style of the boss here.

Life without Internet...

It was heavy rain last night and probably the lightning has caused the office's streamyx line out of service. Hubs tried to figure out what caused it and even tried to fix it but failed. In fact, he told me it should be the problem of the streamyx and not our server. Aiyhhh.... In that case, we have no choice but to wait until TM Net to fix it back.

For the whole afternoon, I’ve been so lost. My mind keep thinking of how much I've lost for not able to grab offer from ads company. Life without internet really makes me feel suckss!! I can’t online, I can’t read blogs and most important is I CAN’T BLOG FOR MONIES.
